Canadian Clifton Brown wins WMC Muay Thai World Super Light Heavyweight Title
Toronto, Ontario and Bamberg, Germany -- October, 31, 2007 -- Canadian Muay Thai Champion Clifton Brown showed why he is regarded as one of the best Muay Thai fighters in the world with a spectacular first round victory over German and European Champion Tyron Priest West in Bamberg, Germany on Saturday, October 27 at the Jako Arena in Germany. The win made Brown the WMC Muay Thai World Super Light Heavyweight Title Champion.

"I enjoyed the fight and I am prepared to fight anyone, anywhere in the world to defend my title," said Clifton Brown, Canadian Muay Thai Champion.
The fight began with Priest West landing heavy jabs and body punches and moved in and out of firing distance. Brown followed every move with counters and well timed offensive elbows. West received a standing count. The corner team for Priest West threw in the towel after he received a knee injury was unable to continue.
Brown added, "Priest was tough and kept coming at me but I felt good in there and never really in danger. I would like to have had a longer fight, but you cant force it."
The bout between Brown and Priest was the top billing on the 14 Muay Thai and K-1 Rules Superfight Championship fight card in Germany. The 2000 strong crowd were captivated by the calibre of the matches at the event.
